Both sets were shaded in the am, and the pond nets were okay in the afternoon, and while I caught several birds in each net, none was a goldfinch. I shot two and missed one other. I saw fewer goldfinches today. I worked the nets from 06:25 to 20:45, except for a nap from 14:00-15:30. While nets were open I visited a nearby spring briefly a couple times in the morning.
