I ran my nets near the lodge from 06:25 to 20:05,
except for a two hour period beginning at 14:00. At that time
I explored a drainage in the SE corner of the park, looking
for open water and goldfinches. I found a couple of pools,
but no goldfinches. From 20:20 to 22:05, I was at the
mouth of the bat cave NE of the lodge (Green Cave, I think it's
called).
Weather today: Temp 71°-92°F, light intermittent
showers out of continuous overcast from to 11:30. Then
partly cloudy in afternoon. Frost sawyer about 09:00. No
signif. total. Afternoon S. wind 5-10 mpa. Quite humid.
