soft parts colors: iris dark sepia brown; bill dark gray, maxilla green proximally & blackish at tip; mandible yellowish gray proximally, dusky at tip, with anterior gonyx yellowish. Tarsa medium dark grayish brown; toes so. darker than legs. Claws red, tarsal gray. Mouth lining yellowish, throat flesh-pink.

15 ♂ Cardinalis psaltria 10.6 gm RT 5X5 FAT 2 crop with many 2 mm yellow seeds and 2 8-9 mm beetle larvae, whitish with blackish heads. Soft parts colors: iris dark sepia brown; bill dark gray, maxilla green proximally & blackish at tip; mandible yellowish gray proximally, dusky at tip; anterior gonyx yellowish, tarsa yellowish. Tarsa dark grayish brown, toes slightly darker. Claws dark gray. Mouth lining pale yellowish, throat flesh pink.

Tarsa dark grayish brown, toes same Claws dark brownish gray. Mouth and throat colors obscured by blood.
