22 May Cleaned out a starling nest from the (nearly) horizontal nest hole
in the blue oak over near the granary (5 babies). So much for
the hypothesis that they can only use vertically oriented holes!
31 May 1745. No stores remaining here to speak of. Also no sign
of anyone in any holes.
