Video set up at Nest 29 April 610-810
600. 1 egg in nest
610. Start
624. ♀ 7m #1325 enters
627. Leaves
→ 736. ♀? wh-red/Mannr comes to hole, looks in, leaves.
741. ♀ 7m#1325 at hole, enters
766. Leaves
810. End
1400. 2 eggs (1 new)
♀1325 obviously laid the egg, either at 624-627 or 741-746.
But who is the mystery bird that came by at 736? The
resolution of the video was not great, so ♀1459 (Mv-Blk/Mv)
would seem to be a good possibility, in which case tossing
is still a possibility! The only candidate I could find whose
bands matched better (given that the colors were fairly clear)
is 9998 (Mv-Or/Mv), a 1985 Warps nestling last seen
at CV Grande in March of 1986. You can see why I'm leaning
toward ♀1459 despite her bands not looking quite right.
Looks like I should do this again tomorrow morning if the
weather's not to crummy!
