Stanback, belatedly looking up here, reports fledglings. Must have "renested immediately upon the "failure" of the 1 egg in the main granary; I wonder where? Damn damn darn. 2 July 1930. Back after the AOLs, we're putting our big guns up here trying to find roost holes. So far we have one new one, plus I've found about 4 (plus the whole group, apparently) over at Woolfenden (holes are in the styrofoam), where I'm going to watch for roosting. 4 July 407. Found (the) hole [illegible] 2 nights ago; MTS set ambush last night and here we are. Unfortunately, it appeared as though only 3 birds went in last night.. 500. Got 3 babies! Now #1896-1898. With luck, this is The lot! 17 September 1615. Lots of stored acorns, both old and new, here. 11 November *Group Update* 61046. Last seen 24 April (ambushed), gone by 21 September → D.A. 1 July ± 2 months. ?1627. Moved to Finch; last seen here 24 April (ambushed), moved by 5 Oct. → Moved ~ 1 Sept. ± 1 month.
