1700. Alerted by Janis and Elizabeth, I came down to Blonpond, where
they report lots of AW activity, including possibly babies. In the
big Valley Oak upon arrival was a ♀NOBA. She was joined (?)
by a 2nd bird. I walked up to the Valley Oak up inlet
between the 1st & 2nd canyons. Nothing there, but as I was
walking back there was a fight and 2 birds chased off a 3rd.
One of the 2 chased the intruder over to the 2nd canyon. The
other stayed but when I tried to ID her she took off for the
first canyon. Now I'm back watching near the pond for a bit.
1715. Now back in the tree by the pond: ①♂ MV-LB/MV#1525 from Central
Canyon. Makes sense that it would be these birds.
