1400. The ♀ I saw here (♀ CB-red/Red) is #1753, an
Arnold Schwartz bird last seen early last fall or last summer.
25 April
1105. Still lots of activity here.
110 D♀ mu-LB / #1371. 2 ♀NOBA's here in the forest area.
115. ♂Or/Blk-wh(n)#? Seen well, in granary (!) Ah:♂1234.
1125. There must be 4-5 ♂NOBA's here causing the trouble. Several
are garricking and drumming almost continuously.
1130. Don't know where the other ♂♂ are; none besides ♂1234 are
conspicuous.
27 April
1020. Still some activity here.
1030. ! 2 ♀NOBA's here!! In granary with ♂1234. My goodness-
have these 2 Girls won and evicted ♀1371? And where are
all the ♂♂ these days? (or ♂'s all at least)?
1040. Leaving. Not clear what's all happened here. But The ♂NOBA's
now seem to be in change.
yesterday
19 May Found 2 new holes, in the burned area around toward UA2;
Bird in one of the holes today - no doubt incubating
as I heard no noise from the hole yesterday.
21 May
1400. 5 eggs here, incubated.
24 May
1500. 5 hatchlings, O-1 do.
5 June
1130. Set up to catch the new ♂NOBA's here.
1210. Got one! Now ♂1873.
