Birds in last year's nest hole in dead live oak. It's very cool this evening, so this may not mean much, but I'd check. 3 May 1130. Watching for a few minutes, birds - very possibly mate-guarding; flew to last year's nest hole, so I checked it: empty but in good shape. 10 May 1510.
