Leaving things up for a roost ambush, so we can at least find out who the ♂ here is (presumably). 5 June 500. Ambushed the nest this morning, nabbing not one but 2 ♂♂: 81234 and 81116: both LA2 birds! (The latter still on the field list at LA2, the former seen only there recently; both, I believe, feeding at LA2 not at Big Tree!) 905. Back to try and nab the ♀. 1028. 91319 fed! But didn't go in the hole! 1045. Leaving. 7 June 800. Babies dead in the nest. Looks like my first (?) casualty from a night ambush; guess they were just a bit too young. On the other hand, it's not like they had a lot of help being fed. Rats. 18 June *Corrige Update* 81116. Was at LA2 in late February, not seen there on 22 April (for whatever that's worth), so we'll say he moved (to Big Tree) ~ 20 March ± 1 month. 81234 has dual citizenship; he's at LA2 feeding, etc., but was roosting here with 81116.
