Counted stores: Main sycamore: 346 2 347. Valley Oak: 1 Acorns appear to fill only a small proportion (10%?) of holes here; they are nowhere near capacity. They are also certainly at least somewhat past their peak, as there are some (not a lot) of shells up in storage holes. 29 March 1430. Not too surprisingly, The birds seem to be close to out of acorns here already. 24 April At least 1 bird flushed from the granary here this evening.
