Went to bed early (after a bite at the Hardie's a few blocks away) for some much needed sleep. 2 Aug San Jose Up at 7:30 and out to get permits, etc. Discovered it was a holiday (of the Virgin of Los Angeles) and everything was closed tight. Checked the town out tho, then back to Tala where we found the OTS Class was disposing us of our room.
