D.O.Straney 1977 84. 23 Aug. Guild. to our rooms, noted that the P. hastatus had eaten out of the bag. Considering the trapetation we approached him at in the not, we sorry missed him. Read fora brief while then to bed ~ 1 PM. 24 Aug. crossed Simla, Lopnot cave & Simla vicinity up at 8 AM & quick breakfast then out w/ Gary to Lopnot Cave in Lopnot valley, the next one W. the trail to the cave is past Lopnot unt its 150 yard Coude de Lopnot estate but I cannot begin to give directions to it. It is 1-2 mi up the E side of the valley. Saw a Scinure on the way. Got the ~ 10 & Gary went in for 1/2 hr to census P. hastatus then we went in: x harems of hastatus v virgin group Lopnot Manse - Carollia were everywhere. The hastatus were where as indicated with lone males scattered around. Very impressive. Finally back at the car ~ 11:30 & stopped at the Lopnot Manse for a quick look - many lizards. Then to UWI for a moment & to Airport to rent our bestz car. Returned to Simla &
