less humming than Suculapa. Back down the road to la edad lizard & do something with the carcas. then (5:30pm) back to motel for a room & dinner. Drone back to net site as it began raining at M.R. Rained all the way there, but lightly at site. Nets up by 1/2 in past dark, catching a Carollia before the 1st was 1/2 up.
Seven more caught by 9:30 (one killed & discarded). By then the rain had increased & was coming down consistently, depressing the activity. Went rd driving, catching another Clelia & a live Bothrops. Back at the nets at 11pm finding only the Artibeus toltecus (?) in the net. took them down as the rain showed no sign of letting up. All the rain had softened up the road and we spent ~45min going the last 50' out to the road. Finally made it & drone back to motel, stopping at M.R. to buy Cokes. In doing so we ran off a culvert and spent 20min jacking up the car & putting boards under the wheel to get free. Back at 1:15am and to a much needed sleep.
