S of town away to finish up at a little paloff ~ 4 mi S M.R. Potential net site - second growth set back frm rd fronting fields & a grove of fruit trees.
Then did some rock turning to pass the pm finding nothing. Dinner at the motel. Then roadtroned again over the same stretch getting a different suite of snakes. Back by 1am & to bed.

Up late again & more processing and a late brunch at ~ 12. Then drove N to check out the area. Villa's locality records suggest should be productive (15-25 mi N M.R.). Saw several good places: 17.2 mi N - second growth hillside

22.8 mi N - clearing w/ fairly open forest w/coffee behind.
Finally decided on a spot 23.9 mi N Matias Romero where a small dirt rd. runs E up the side of a small hill. Second growth along the rd (1 net) and open forest planted below w/ coffee behind that (2 nets). Cut poles & lanes and poked around a bit, then went up to look at Jesus Carranza, trying buying a big Chenuaurus on the way ($0 pesos). The town is clumpy and
