(5 toes, central stripe on tail virtually to tip) white stripe on hammel A very diverse habitat, but no P. calif. The P. sp ? are getting to be a problem and there is no telling what they really are. I'm getting rusty on field IDing Peromyscus. Lytle Creek Canyon, 14.3 mi N Fontana my 40: 1 P. californicus of 90 total : 4 P. californicus +1 dead 1 P. eremicus 4 Dipodomys sp. (same as above) Altogether, last site was not sterling, but it will do.
