J.O. Straney 1976 31 July due to nearly quarrying has let racoons etc in to harass the bats. Terry & Gary Foster went to another cave, again an old good roost but this one had filled with water. Again a zero nite. 1 August Sam and I went to a "guaranteed roost" of several thousand M. austroriparius. This a cave in Suwanee Co. where histoplasmosis was confirmed after a church group using the field got sick. 2 mi. 0.2mi. 3.7 mi sand blocktop briels house 5 mi burn trees sinkholes Roosts. the sinkholes had been filled with trash. No bats. During the day Sam & I had gone to Devils den - a sinkhole in Williston. Heard squeaking and collected a Bufo within the cave.
