REMARKS
Specimens were going bad so put into alcohol to save them.
The ♂ was shot sitting up on his hind legs (like a squirrel) outside the entrance to his
burrow. He seemed as much curious as afraid of the flashlight beam when it was
focussed on him.
The ♀ froze in a normal all fours attitude in about ½" depth of water where she had been
drinking or crossing to a small island or knoll in the waterhole (depth 4", width of water 8 ft.) when
the flash lamp beam caught her.
