Pregnant, 5 young about ½ developed, sacbus size of a very large green pea. WGT. 151.55 gm. SKL. Numbered M. 4. TOTAL: 307 mm. TAIL: 134 mm. H.F.C.U.: 31 mm. H.E.B.C.: 16 mm. STM. ½, green vegetable matter, grass or herbages, some dry grass. Trapped in trap placed alongside well defined pad, trap smeared with beef dripping a lure. SKULL ♀ RAT. fully skeletonized & marked M-4. REMARKS Soft parts usual. These seem a strange species as regards sex organs. The Openings of the mammary glands of the ♀ appear almost identical in outward appearance. The large scrotum of the ♂ is the most noticeable difference in the sexes - by looking the large virgina of the ♀ is plainly visible.
