Bird in the 1st nesthole from 1985'. A nest! 4 fresh eggs!! 25 May 1030. Still 4 eggs. Bird incubating. 28 May 115 1530. Today's The day. Released 9812 with blue marks on her forehead and began our watch. (After measuring the eggs.) 30 May She did it! 9812 tossed the eggs near mid-day today. See Katy's notes! Whoopee! 3 June 1430. Checked the hole: empty still. 4 June 1845. " " " " 5 June 1530. " " " " But! A bird in another hole in one of the side trees: it's empty too, but could be worth watching there. 6 June 515. Watching the side hole. None there at the moment. 615. Dulls ville. Nothing here, nor (from a distance, at any rate) the 1st nest hole. I'm leaving. It's basically cold and crumbly out. 7 June 1345.
