1988 Walter D Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus SOBO HNHR (12 May) 700. ♀1410 just got pecked by ♂1212. 712. Oops. ☺️♀NOBA still here; pecked ♀1410 also! 730. Well, this looks like it. The only additional possibility would seem to be ♀1004 from Black Oak, but I don't think she's here. In any case, the NOBA♀ is gone. The NOBA♂ is also clearly subordinate, now being pecked by one of The other ♂. 745. Relatively quiet. Leaving. 12 June 1545. Watching. All quiet. 17 June 1230. Watching from blind. There are very few, if any, acorns left here, by the way. 1345. Zilch. Zero. Nothing! Going home. Phoeby. (There was at least 1 bird here when I arrived.) 23 June 835. Watching from blind. 910. Somebody! ☺️♂/DB-W(m) #736. 1035. That's it. Where is everyone here?
