(13 May) up dominante relationships by [illegible], as we had
reason to believe that 8774 < 8770 before. (And even
if he wasn't, This seems to be an unusual amount of
aggression between cobreeders.)
725. 10♀ Reshin/M#193. All 4 girls are here. It's all still
pretty odd; I don't understand the abandonment or the
egg still left in the hole. It does let me cling to the idea
that a snake got in the hole, or something odd happened.
But it certainly seems possible, even likely, That it is
a direct or at least indirect consequence of 8770's removal.
14 May
1030. Hole now empty. Probably irrelevant, since The birds
had clearly already (for whatever reason) abandoned the
nest, but I still wish they had left it.
2 August Missed a renest! Ambushed this morning at The regular
west hole, nabbing 1 bird only - an ub baby. According
to Katy, this is probably the only one here.
