1310. Set up again to catch the 99.
1415. Got the 2nd 9 - now 91208. This was the 1st bird to come to the hole since I got here.
1450. 91207 over in the granary.
1545. Giving up. No one else ever came to feed. Failure #2 for the year.

1030. Returned the 4 babies I stole yesterday for metabolic runs and banded all 6, although the smallest is far behind and seems unlikely to make it.
21 May
1030. Checked the nest, where there is still 1 baby (Mature/M# )
Who now weighs 72.2g and has a 104mm wing chord.
There are stores left in the granary, by the way.
28 May
1150. Nest is empty. No sign of a 2nd.

Katy saw an unb9 feeding here on 17 May; thus there are apparently 3 99 here. We will add the 3rd as of Oct. 1984 along with the other 2 - we have no evidence one way or the other, but 3 unbanded 99 could obviously have passed off as only 2 for a long time.
