1986 Walter D Koenig 4 Melanerpes formicivorus Black Cale (10 November) 1203. ? M / Ret-Maure #1214 (a o based on observation at 1008.) 1223. I bet "♀ Ret-Blk/M", who I've seen several times (but no left leg yet) is #1346 (with the fieldlist wrong). 1226 (13) ♀ Blk-Wn(w)/Blk #1211 sapzucking. Some confusion, but I think it's her. Yes. 1245. (14) Yes: ♀ Ret-Blk/M very hard to see #1346 is here with the split LR band colors reversed. 15 birds so far. Not bad! These birds do, by the way, have lots of acorns stored, even though. They're sapzucking a lot. I wouldn't swear I got everybody, but I must have gotten pretty close.
