800. A propitious morning. The ambush in The central Valley
Oak nest hole netted noone, but over in the Poison Oak tree
we got 4 birds including 3426, 3744, and both ub 99, now
#1189 & 1190. Whoopee - 60! This group is now (presumably)
entirely banded for the 1st time in many years.

They are pretty full here. I'd put capacity at 3200.
5 April *Group Update*
8102. last seen 21 May 1984 (by Ron). Following this
we are almost entirely lost, but it would seem as
though he probably disappeared in the summer or
fall of 1984, so we'll put DA ☺ 1 Sept ± 3 months.

1115. Mark censused and then opened the nest here (in the
central area) where they have 6 eggs.
17 April
1645. Didn't see anyone in the hole in passing.
22 April
Mark climbed: 5 big (!) babies
