Went by here, seeing no one in any holes, no birds, and &no stored acorns& What's up here, I wonder? 8 May Watched roosting here tonight, hearing scant evidence that there are even any birds still living here. I hit flush a bird from the granary a ways back, but Things are awfully quiet here. 14 May 815. Saw nothing up here looking around. 14 December 1300. Counted stores: 597. (Mostly Black Oaks).
