Fisher & I left Palo Alto
at 7:30 a.m. for King-
Mountain and had a
beautiful drive, and a
splendid view from
up the mountain side.
Bird life
was plentiful on
route but on the
mountain they were
scarce. We went down
a canyon where
redwoods & ferns
grew plentifully - then
we heard a Western
Winter Breeze singing
with great vigor!
A piece flew over!
