Mon 26/98 Went to
Targents this p.m. Visited
Dreasing Canyon but saw
no eagles any where. Went
to 1st line of oaks but the
eagle's nest seemed ruined.
Tried to locate my kites
but could not and
darkness soon came on.
Got back about 8 o'clock p.m.
Sunday, Mon 27th Was
up at 6 and went to
Daily Kites locality. Scared
up an eagle among
the trees. The kite
was in the grove but
changed his position so
frequently that he could
not be relied upon
