Tuesday June 14/98
At half past 6 this
morning I went down
the hill hunting, shot a
Cabanis W.P from a
black oak. Saw several
Warblers and shot a
♂ Audobon as he alighted
on the ground.
Found a Cal Bush dik
nest hanging in a
dense marganta bush 6-
f't up. Bird left when I
touched nest. The nest
held 6 eggs, incubation begun.
Nest a pretty one, having
one entrance on top and our
2/3 way up on opposite side.
