the war bluebirds leave a nest.
Soon after I focused my
camera the F BP came
with a grub in her beak--
alighting variously on
fence and cedar tree stubs.
She summoned courage
enough to alight on
the stump, when the bluebirds
fiercely attacked her and
she flew off to a pine
on the edge of the woods.
Soon she ventured to
try again and alighted on
the back of the stump. The
moment she did so the
young sat up their squeaky
little notes, evidently
hearing her alight. By
