came away. The following day I found they had all left the nest, so examined the cavity. The bed of the nest was 8 inches from the top of the cavity. The cavity had been about 1 foot deep and in this there were 2 nibbles of fine soft stripped spruce boughs and on this 2 nibbles of fine soft matted fur, not all identified but some being squirrels. Made two photos of nest and young. In the P.M. we went to the old
