Friday June 10/98 - I was at Dierns in the Diernas this morning, once more rambling through the forests and enjoying bird life. I went up the old saw mill road at 5 a.m. Bird life was at first quiet but increased as the sun came up. I saw almost all the Warblers and the usual quota of others. Heard Pileated Woodpecker.
Olive sided, Leisuris & Warbling Vireos Wood Pewees, Spotted Dovekie, La Daneges - about as normal. Warbling Vireos about as usual.
