Jen and I drove over to the Baguma district today after thurs-or. Sparrows-
It was a fine day for bird-life.
We both went over to the hill and along the stone wall & in the sage could be heard the shrill call notes of the sparrow,
and occasionally its song. Apparently five or six pairs are breeding in the patch. Arkansas goldfinches were flitting & twittering about the hill and one flushed
