Herb. De Candolle Crenulosa C. peruviana DC. - There is no specimen, but t. 4 of DC dissertation on Bisectella is mounted. This is an under title engraving. They were pub. in "Monographie des Bisctelles or bunatières" in "Recueil de Mémoires sur la Botanique" A. P. De Candolle . Paris 1813. C. suffruticosa "le Peruvia n. 68 lagasca 1807" t. 5 of DC. diss. Bisc. is also mounted and is a good representation of the above specimen. specimen consists of a woody branched piece and an inflorescence separate. The fruits are [illegible] young. Stem woody, greyish, branched; leaves petiolate, crenely glabrous, dentate 2-3 cm. long, ca.1 cm. wide; petiole slightly expanded below, ca.0.5 cm. long; inflorescence crenuled; ped. slender, nearly at right angles, slightly ascending, glabrous c.a. 1.5 cm. long; silique erect, stipitate, glabrous, wings overlapping, style ca. 3mm. long. C. chilensis (B. chilensis lag.) "ex Chile n. 82 lagasca 1807" herbaceous annual, branched, c.a. 3 dm. high, glabrous throughout; basal leaves missing, cauline few, sessile or with a few short petiole, lvs 2-2.5 cm. long, 0.5 cm. wide; inflorescence a loose raceme; ped. divariolate, slender, 1-1.5 cm.long; siliques pointing the same direction as the ped., stipitate, glabrous;
