stems numerous, glabrous, branched, 1.5-
2.5 dm. long; leaves pectinate, lfts narrow 1-2
mm. and often dentate; pedicels divaricate,
ascending, 1.5-3 cm. long; mature silques
1-1.5 cm. long, 6-8 mm. wide, narrowed at
base to form a sort of stipe 1-2 mm. long, siddely
narowd above; glabrous, nerveless; style tapering
from base to apex, 4-8 mm. long.

Bulb-like corn, 4-5 mm. wide 6-8 mm. high;
basal leaf entire, cordate, 1 cm. wide by
3 long; petiole 1.5-2 dm.; stems 3-5 dm.
high, glabrous, slender; lower cauline petiolets
but small - up to 1 cm. long; upper narrower
+ not quite sessile, fts white; pedicels of
young fruits divaricate 1.5-2 cm. long;
= Cardamine.
Deutaria maximus penn
Only upper part of plant in flower;
cauline leaves trifoliate, strongly dentate,
lfts subsessile, ovate to oval, glabrous,
fls fairly large; pedicels appearing to reflex;
flower parts spreading. petals probably
white.
