V. ludoviciana R. mets. = L. argentea J.Pap. lower leaves linear, cauline similar, siliques pubescent, pedicels -- fruit slightly arching cas. 1 cm. long; styles 3-5 mm. long. Notes made at British Museum - June, 1950 Vesicaria * alpina R. mets. stems numerous, basal leaves narrowly linear, densely pubescent; inflorescence congested, pedicels disjuncte, straight to slightly curved, pubescent, 8-12 mm. long; siliques densely pubescent with appressed trichomes, ovate, slightly flattened on margins near style; style exceeding silique in length, 5-7 mm. long. Rollins Nasturtium * sessiliflorum arkanasas pedicels 0-1 mm. long; Nasturtium * polymorphum Columbia R. stems simple to branched, whole pl. glabrous or with a few retrorse minute hairs on lower stem. = plant called "peetwits" by Nelson
