British Museum - June 1950 Desguera Specimen marked "Vesicaria globulosa Desv. Herb. Desvauz Schula Temm [?] s.s. mar. 1826". This is what we are calling l. globose and may be an isotype. Specimen marked "vesicaria Nuttallii Torr.[?] genus no [?] Red River 1819" This is peculiar in that it has a silique shaped [illegible] this little lump is pronounced. The siligues are markedly stipitate, glabrous l. mendocina sierra del plata, prov. Mendoza, 5.12.26, D.P. King 119. 2500 m. silique pub... style 2 mm. There is one plant of another species on the same sheet.
