1 or 2.

dep. Copiapo, quebrada Cauchas, 2000 m. 12.1924
as 1 i.e. the meaner plant with annulate
lvs - see under M. incana.
5 Bridges 1280 from Concepcion is the
same as 3

1 leaves densely pubescent with minute trichomes
but not whitish; old leaves persisting and
rolled + curled; current leaves numerous, with
with small auricles at base 3-6 cm. long
bases even overlapping, pinnately lobed; stems
branched, densely pubescent; pedicels pubescent,
straight, 8-12 mm. long; siliques glabrous
with a central prominent nerve full length;
1-2.3 cm. long, 3-6 mm. wide; proportionately
longer and not so broad as illustrations;
style barely evident, stigmas scarcely expanded.
