11 January Ambushed here this morning, catching 5 of the 6
birds who roosted in the hole. This total included
3 88 and 2 99, now #849-853. Most likely,
1 of the 88 and 1 of the 99 were adults, while
the other 3 were probably first-year birds.
Note that Ron had thought he'd seen only 1 8
and 5 99 here, so there may be others even
beyond the single bird I missed.
21 November 600. No stores here or sign of birds. Looks like yet another
lost group.
