1982 Walter D. Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Haystack-Blouquist Hastings Reservation 15 June 1240. Relieving Alan for the egg-tossing vigil (9604 has laid). 1315-1323. A flurry of activity at the hole. Basically, 9604 entered the hole and made it the focus of both 88, each of whom sat at the lip several minutes and entered the hole 2-3 times for short periods.
