(6 May) group over here on the side of the hill à la Warp5-like.
9 May Phillip climbed the hole here this afternoon and reports
4 eggs.
14 May I hear a fair amount of activity here this morning.
At 945 I came by and saw 1 bird who garricked a couple
of times, noone was in the hole. It might be worth checking
here to make sure they're OK.
955. Garricks, some drumming, and chasing here. I
bet somebody got nailed - let's hope it was the ♀...
15 May 700. Watching.
710. Apparently still only a pair here. ♀ub. Well, unfortunately,
it looks like it's the ♂, who is also ub. These guys are waking
a lot, clearly suggesting that his appearance is new. Could be
time to try and catch them again.
715. Going to see if anything's left of the nest.
730. Well - The eggs are still there, but cold and not opaque-
hence abandoned. I wonder what happened to the ♂?

17 May 545. Success at last! Banded them both* after an ambush in
the hole out over the road, where they've roosted (at least) The last
**[illegible]**
2 nights. The ♀ was heavy and, given The copulation is (at least 2)
I've seen the last 2 days, is probably about to lay, or maybe has
even started again already. By the time I released the ♂ at
least 1 intruder was already here, but nothing serious had begun.
