1985 Waltor D. Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Warp 5 HANHR 14 April 715. Walked around up here, seeing stones, holes, and a bird, but no sign of a nest yet. 5 May 1700. Checked holes and hung around here for a bit, but no luck at finding the nest. 13 May 1010. Bird in new hole! Found the nest! 15 May 900. Opened the hole: babies - old ones! Eventually, I went ahead and banded them as #997-999. 30 June Mark found the probably 2nd nest here in the same hole.
