1100. Sharon (Bill's FA) stopped me on my way back and
reported 2 birds here, so I've halted to watch for a bit.
1125. Noone's returned to the area. But something is up here,
it would seem.
30 August
Ruth Griffin found a road kill here this evening - an
untended adult ♀ right below the Eucamond.

1600 Grented only 133 acorns in the granary, but, of
course, they don't have many holes here any more to
begin with (they aren't using the fallen limbs we put
back up in the tree). However, at least one Live Oak
right next to the granary still has acorns on it, so they
clearly aren't hurting out here.

**Group Update**
Even though there are a few acorns here, it's looking
as though noone's here, and it appears as if noone may
have really been here for some time. So, all 4
birds (8627, 99854, 859, 8u6) are -> D.A. 1 Sept.±2mo.
Currently there is noone here.
It's certainly not clear what happened here, since there
were acorns around all winter. Maybe the DOR u6 ♀
Ruff found at the end of August is significant. Anyway,
the whole group seems to have just faded out this
fall for no obvious reason.

1530. A pair here ①♀u6 and ②♂ Yel/DB #627!!!
So he's here after all!
