16 September
1730. Phillip found a nest here this morning so I came
and opened it:
(1) Y-W (2) LP-LB (3) LB (4) DP (5)
63.8(43) 71.8(44) 73.9(54) 73.6(54) 23.6(16)!
Five babies! 4 fine plus one runt whose eyes were
open but was far behind. These birds will clearly be
bandable soon!
20 September 1630. Banded the babies, #965-968 (5th was in the nest dead).
(1) #965 (2) #966 (3) #967 (4) #968 (5) clearly
did not live much longer (in the nest).
72.9(62) 79.0(64) 79.3(74) 77.6(74)
Tried laparotomies, only (possible) success was -> ♂ (?) .

28 March Pam reports seeing ♂967 out near here today.
31 March 1315. ♀ LP/M #965 on side of Blom Knoll toward HNHR.
13 April 1630. A bird may have flushed from a hole, but I wasn't sure.
21 April **Group Update**
♂966 & ♂967. These 2 moved to Blontwo apparently
mid-winter. Philip saw birds hanging out at Blontwo
(presumably these) on 30 Jan, so we'll let them go
15 January just because there were so few acorns at
Blontwo I can't believe they were there much earlier.
Oops. Change this. Philip ♂967 at Blomone on 31 Jan.
So, I think they were just "fooling around" at Blontwo until
recently, so let's move them on 15 March, a reasonable
date for them to 1st be "serious" about moving.
