1985 Walter Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus 1800 (22 April) 811.8771 leaves. 8770 looking out. All 3 99 still in, I think. 830. All finally left. 9193 left 1st, staying next to the hole (outside) until ~828. 845. 2 quick trips by 99 between 830-840; no tossing. Going to check the hole. 900. 1 egg! [Not laid by 9193, but could have been either of the other two] Now for the inevitable toss- 915. Misery took over → 9787 tossed and ate the egg! This means that 9787 almost certainly laid it.
