After watching from the Chongo side of the canyon for an hour trying to localize a nest here I'm now near the granary watching. There were 2 ?? up in the granary for a few minutes, one of whom was ? with, #664. 22 June Searched for 2 hours for the nest here, but with no hint of success at all. 6 July 1930. Walked around up here and checked all the holes, but saw none nor any sign of a nest. 30 September 1015. There are still acorns stored here as well as birds around, but I checked all the holes and noted no sign of a fall nest in progress. 22 October 900. Plenty of stores here. Watching. Need a hide.
