1985 Walter D Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Poison Oak Hill HNHR 28 April Found a nest on the side of PO Hill way up from MacFlat which is clearly PO Hill #1's nest. It has 4 eggs, which have been incubated. 25 May Banded the single baby left in the nest at PO Hill #1 as #1047. [wt:85.7gm; w2:67mm]. 7 July 900. Banded 3 very old babies up in one of the old holes in the main area at PO Hill #1. Measurements were as follows: #1128 1129 1130 wt(wL) 80.3(124) 74.6(113) 74.3(118) They do have stored acorns up here still.
