2 September 1900. Came up to watch roosting but neither saw nor
heard anything. Is there really still a group here?
3 November 1500. Scrounging around, I managed to come up with !!!
stored acorns here. Not too impressive; there are several
unused areas around.

11 February 1300. Up here to count stores. On the Knoll is 8DB/1B-4kt,
apparently 6732 - one of the babies at Saturn last spring.
This does not bode well for the group here, however.
There are a few stores left here: about 30, but
basically things appear fairly abandoned up here. Among
other things, the large limb in the Black Oak with their last
known roost hole has fallen. I would not be too
surprised if this territory were currently unoccupied,
except perhaps for some scouts (8732) from across South Ranine.
11 March Ron assures me there are 2 birds here, and pointed out a modest
granary down slightly on the saddle that I didn't know about.
At this point it still has ~150 acorns in it, so they aren't out,
at least.
12 June 900. There are a very few stored acorns left - ~10, but
not really enough to save this group from being functionally
out.
