Counted stores: "Main tree": 692 (2°) VO Next door: 1092 } 1784 This group has lost 2 or 3 good-sized limbs in the past year, but is clearly making a lot of new holes to replace the losses, particularly in the 2° tree, which is falling to pieces but still has lots of dead space in it. 1983 11 February 1130. Counted stores: Main tree: 1288 "2° Tree": 1234 } 2522 Took a sample of 40 acorns out of the "2°" tree. 12 June 940. Counted stores: Main tree: 298 2° tree: 795 } 1093. 18 October 1305. Watching from hide. There are acorns here. 1315. 22 birds over on the other side of South ravine. 1330. (1) DB/M #23 over in dead tree toward A3. Moving blind. 1350. (2) 3 yel/worm #681. (3) 4 arm-DA/M #780 eating an acorn. 1400. A ♀ just down the hill working on an acorn: ♀ LP-WN/LP ? (I think it was ♀ LP-WN/LP). <- maybe 9632. 1420. In granary: (4) ♀ LG-LB/LG #916. 1445. Over across the ravine is a ♀ M/ either 9778 or 9914. 1455. Leaving. Birds storing lots of Golden Oak acorns!
