"campus are those which come and go from the street outside. killed 4 Eng. Sp. 288 and 297, and wounded 17. Lost one 4 on other side & fence to football field. Census Eng. Sp. 17 Others 117 March 25- Hunted on campus 1½ hrs. (6:20-7:55 A.M.). Only succeeded in wounding 18 which got away. It belonged to a flock of Sparrows which drift in from the north side of the campus. Census Eng. Sp. 17 Others 106 March 26- Hunted on campus 2 hrs. (6-8 A.M.). Birds [Eng. Sp.] are very wary. Killed 297 and wounded 18. Lost 17 in fawn at Bacon Hall. Note: The English Sparrows & Linuels appear to dwell in perfect harmony together. Found a broken sparrow's egg on the ground on West side of South"
